F Charlie Coyle: Made his second World Junior tounament apperance with Team USA. He was held scoreless in a 2-1 win over Switzerland as well as a 12-2 win over Latvia in the relegation round. Scored a goal in a 3-2 loss to Canada. Was held scoreless in a 5-2 loss to Team Czech Republic on Friday. Coyle registered an assist in a 4-1 loss against Team Finland on Wednesday. He posted a hat trick in his team's opening game against Denmark on Monday.
F Mikael Granlund: Granlund and Finland lost on Thursday to Canada, 4-0 in the bronze medal game. Finland finished fourth in the tournament. Granlund finished as Team Finland's scoring leader with two goals and nine assists. He was held scoreless in a 3-2 shootout loss to Sweden in the semifinals. Finland will now play for the bronze medal. In the quarterfinal matchup against Slovakia, he tallied a goal and three assists in helping Finland to a berth in the semifinals against Sweden. Led his team to a 4-0 win over Team Czech Republic with two assists. Had four assists in a 10-1 win against Team Denmark on Friday. Scored is first goal of the tournament in a 4-1 win against Team USA. Granlund had no points in Finland's 8-1 loss to Team Canada.
D Jonas Brodin: Made his World Junior tournament debut for Team Sweden and won a gold medal after a 1-0 win over Russia in the final. He was held without a point as Sweden defeated Finland in a shootout to move on to the gold medal game. Had an assist in a 4-3 win against Team Russia. Marked an assist in a 9-1 win against Team Slovakia on Friday. He did not register a point on Wednesday, but helped Sweden to a 4-3 shootout win over Switzerland. He had two assists in Sweden's 9-4 win over Latvia.
F Johan Larsson: Played in his second World Junior tournament for Team Sweden and was team captain for Sweden's second-ever gold medal at the World Juniors. He was a +1 in the gold medal game when he was on the ice for the overtime game-winner. He picked up an assist in a 3-2 shootout win over Finland in the semifinal. Sweden will play for gold on Thursday. Registered two assists in a 4-3 win over Team Russia. Had two assists in a 9-1 win over Team Slovakia on Friday. He was held without a point in Sweden's 4-3 shootout victory over Switzerland on Wednesday. Had an assist in Sweden's 9-4 win against Latvia.
G Johan Gustafsson: Made his World Junior tournament debut for Team Sweden and stopped all 17 shots faced in the gold medal game for a 1-0 shutout of Russia. He stopped 22 of 24 shots through regulation and overtime in the semifinal game against Finland. He also stopped two of three shootout attempts, giving Sweden a berth in the gold medal game. Made 23 saves in a 4-3 win over Team Russia. Did not play in the team's 9-1 against Team Slovakia. He made his second straight start and earned a 4-3 shootout win in a 24-save effort. He stopped both Switzerland shootout attempts. Made nine saves and earned a win in Sweden's 9-4 victory over Latvia.
