In the 23rd week of the 2015-16 season, Erik Haula was voted the Bryant Hot Player of the Week. This week, a forward, a defenseman, and a goalie are up for the honor.
Zac Dalpe, who played in his first two games for the Wild, scored his first goal in Minnesota's 2-1 loss against the Calgary Flames. He took a combined three shots on goal over the two games, had three hits, and won 64.7 percent of his faceoffs (11-for-17).
Devan Dubnyk stopped 23 of the 26 shots he faced in his final work of the regular season. He played a period and a half against the Flames in the Wild's finale, making six saves on six shots. Dubnyk finished the regular season with a .918 save percentage, the second-highest save percentage by a Wild goalie over the past four years for qualified league-leaders, with only Dubnyk's 2014-15 season finishing higher.
Jared Spurgeon took a season best six shots on goal against the Flames, and seven over the Wild's two games last week. He averaged 25:19 of ice time, and logged a season high 29:04 against the San Jose Sharks. It was the fifth time in Spurgeon's career he's taken at least six shots on goal in a single game, and the eighth he's played at least 29 minutes, the third time in a game that didn't go to overtime.
