Wild Street

Wild Street is the Minnesota Wild’s locally run component of the NHL Street Hockey program. The program offers opportunities for kids to be introduced to the game of hockey.

The equipment for Wild Street is donated by the NHL and hands on instruction is present for participants at local program centers. By learning on a street surface, kids can familiarize themselves with the game before playing on ice.

Over 500 kids participate in Wild Street at local Twin Cities Boys and Girls Clubs, and St. Paul Parks and Recreation Centers.

If you would like more information about becoming a Wild Street program center, please call 651-602-6000 or visit NHL street at www.nhl.com/kids/pages/street001.html.
